Publicly-Traded Multimedia Software Publisher

Starting at the beginning of this industry leader's explosive growth, The Croner Company worked closely with the company's top management to create a comprehensive compensation plan that included base pay, short-term incentives, stock options and perquisites.  We provided assistance for nearly a decade in maintaining and adapting this plan, until the recent acquisition of the company.  We have continued to assist the new parent of this company with the design and modification of its compensation plans. 

 

Leading Biotech and Pharmaceutical Research Company

After the acquisition of this formerly publicly-traded company by a large, international pharmaceutical company, The Croner Company developed a "phantom" equity plan to reward the long-term achievement of the now subsidiary's research and development goals.  This plan, in place for nearly ten years, has enabled the company to continue to compete for scarce human resources in a biotech labor market where stock options are standard elements of executive pay packages. 

Diversified "Conglomerate"

The Croner Company created a series of interlocked executive compensation plans for the executives of this diversified holding company and for the executives of its subsidiary companies.  These plans included base pay, short-term incentives, stock options and performance shares elements. 

Major Gaming Equipment Company

We worked with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of this NYSE gaming equipment company to create and maintain market-based executive compensation plans for the company’s top executives.  Our work has included a number of detailed analyses requested by the Compensation Committee and by the Board of Directors.

Privately-Held Diversified Construction Company

We worked with the top management and Board of Directors of this large, $1-B in revenues, diversified construction company to create a specially tailored compensation for its new Chief Executive Officer.  Dimensions of the plan included: base pay; short-term incentives; long-term incentive and restricted stock.

Global Producer of Television Programming

Serve as an advisor to the Board of Directors of this closely-held global producer of content for numerous cable channels.  Regularly review top management compensation, including base salaries, executive incentives and the company’s unique equity-like program. 

Major National Cable System Operator

We conducted a competitive assessment of this privately-held company’s equity-like plan for its key field management.  Recommended granting guidelines and eligibility standards. 

Specialized Biotech Company

We created an industry-based "best practices" executive compensation plan for this publicly-traded biotech company.  The plan has been in place before and after the company's Initial Public Offering.
