The C2HR* Cable Programmers / Broadcast Networks Survey is an industry specific compensation survey conducted annually to provide competitive compensation information to cable programmers, television and satellite radio broadcasters and any entity that provides and/or produces content with mobile, internet, film, commercial and related entities.  The Survey invites participation from cable programmers, broadcast networks, digital media and technology companies, on demand and internet streaming content providers or other content companies with related programming positions.

Forty-five companies — representing 105 networks and approximately 28,000 employees — are using the 2018 Croner C2HR Survey data to understand current market trends and to establish rational market compensation levels in their organizations. Participant companies include all five national broadcast networks and all 20 of the most watched national cable networks, as well as companies who create content for internet channels.

Four hundred and three positions at all levels are reported, in functions such as general management, programming, creative production, technical production, post production, remote operations, library, affiliate and media relations, community affairs, market research, digital distribution, advertising sales, affiliate advertising sales, advertising sales operations, legal and business affairs and G&A.
