Hali Croner, President / Chief Executive Officer, has been studying compensation practices in specific industries and advising companies on the design of their compensation programs for over 25 years. She speaks regularly on compensation trends and developments in the media and digital industries. She joined The Croner Company in 1987 and since 1999 has been President / CEO and Principal Consultant. Hali is the author of record of all of the compensation surveys conducted by The Croner Company and Principal Consultant on major consulting projects. She earned her B.A. degree from Dartmouth College where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Croner is currently retained as an advisor to the compensation committee by the boards of several large, publically traded companies in the technology, print, digital and entertainment industries.

P. Garth Gartrell, Senior Consultant, has been an executive compensation consultant, attorney and CPA for over 30 years. He has worked closely with leading technology companies, venture and private equity firms, and financial institutions on all facets of executive compensation. He has represented the Board of Directors and management of early stage venture backed companies, IPOs, large public and private companies, and companies involved in mergers and acquisitions. He has written several of the most widely read and respected books on executive compensation including the Third Edition of “Executive Compensation for Emerging Growth Companies” and “409A Administration Handbook,” all published by Thomson Reuters. Mr. Gartrell has served as expert witness in numerous high profile and high value litigation matters. He was voted by his peers to the last 20 editions of “Best Lawyers in America” and to San Francisco Magazine’s top Bay Area lawyers. Mr. Gartrell has degrees from The Ohio State University (magna cum laude) and Harvard Law School (cum laude).
